Welcome
Welcome to the second monthly newsletters from Los Senderos Studio. As we mentioned before you are receiving these newsletters because you responded to an email, you signed up on one of our sites, or we have done business with you in the past. Our target audience for these newsletters is Central Texas musicians and songwriters and those interested in recording and performing music. If you are no longer interested in receiving future newsletters, please click the Safe Unsubscribe button at the bottom of this newsletter.
Tell us what you'd like to see in future issues. Do you have a question about our studio or the recording process? Is there a technical subject you would like to see discussed?
Drop us a note at Larry@LosSenderosStudio.com and let us know. We'll do our best to cover the topics you are interested in.

Wealth of Information on Website
Some of our clients have told us they were impressed by the amount of information found on our website, LosSenderosStudio.com. For example, many people have called and written us with questions about our studio, the recording process, and what to expect when they get here. We have gathered these questions together and presented them as a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section. If you have questions, that may be a good place to look for an answer.
We have also compiled a list of tips. One set of tips covers before you arrive at the studio. Another set of tips covers the recording session. Many of our clients have told us those tips were very helpful. Even if you have spent many hours in the recording studio, you may find the list to be a helpful reminder.
There is also a collection of articles we have written. Subjects include microphones, sound processing, and the history of sound recording. We think many musicians will these articles to be of interest.
We plan to add additional articles, tips, and FAQs as time goes on. So if you have a question or suggestion for a topic, please email them to me.

Session Musicians
In our last newsletter, we asked for musicians to let us know if they do session work. We received responses from several of you and added those names to our database. I am sure there are still many more of you out there.
So if you do session work and want to be included on our list, please drop us an email with your name, the instrument(s) you play, your rates, and contact information. We will add it to our database.

Help Us Get the Word Out
We have added about 25 names to our email list since last month. The more people who receive the newsletter, the more effective your ads will be. So if you know a singer, songwriter, band, or other musician who you think would like to receive our newsletter, forward this newsletter to them. If you like, you can send his or her email address to us and we will contact them to see if they want to join our mailing list. And thanks for your help.

Los Senderos Studio Supports HAAM
This year HAAM Benefit Day occurred on September 22. That's the day that partici-pating area merchants donated a percentage of their sales revenue to HAAM. We believe that HAAM is a wonderful cause because it provides medical services to area musicians who have no insurance and who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
We have been a supporter of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) almost from the very start, first with some of our other business ventures, and now through our recording studio.
